BOOST to Stream FREE on YouTube In Honour of Jahmil French

In memory of Jahmil French and his talent as an outstanding performer, the producers and distributors of BOOST (2017)have made the film free to stream on YouTube.

For his role in BOOST, Jahmil was nominated as Best Supporting Actor at the Canadian Screen Awards, and Quebec Cinema Awards. He brought so much of himself to the role including celebrating one of his childhood best friends by renaming his character “A-Mac” in his honour.

For fans of Jahmil and those just discovering his extraordinary talent, we thank the producers for sharing this free opportunity to check out the film.

From the BOOST crew: Rest in Peace, Jahmil. We will never forget you.

“People like jah are few and far between and I’m grateful our paths crossed. His artistry and his humanity went hand in hand. He utilized his gift to lift everyone around him, his generosity and empathy was always on display. This is an immense loss.” Actor Nabil Rajo, 2018 CSA Best Actor Winner for BOOST.

“Jahmil French was one of the most passionate and driven young artists I’ve ever had the chance to work with. From the moment I stepped on set with him on the indie feature BOOST I could tell he was fueled by a burning passion for excellence but underneath was a gentle soul. He will be sorely missed. His spirit will live on through all the lives he touched.” Actor Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine

Jahmil, you came to earth and did what you were meant to do fearlessly. You affected our lives so beautifully and genuinely and left us wanting more. You are one of the greatest humans and natural talents I’ve ever met and this world is at a loss because of it. You were here briefly to make your mark but forever etched in our hearts and souls. I will miss your silliness, your grace, your heart, but most of all your ease of vulnerability. You are truly my brother. I will forever love and miss you deeply. Rest in Power King Jah.”  Actor Oluniké Adeliyi

Beyond a loss to the silver screen, we’ve lost a genuinely sincere human being. Jah was one of a kind and the thought of not receiving his sweet messages on Instagram anymore is hard to believe.” Producer Frederic Bohbot.
