The host of the Firecracker Department Podcast, and all-around fearless leader, Naomi Snieckus Naomi recently wrapped her return role of Principal Lee in Disney Channel’s upcoming original movie Zombies 2. Stodgy and stuck in her ways, Ms. Lee overseas the coming together of Zombies and Cheerleaders. Disney premiered the original film Zombie last year, the cable network’s #1 rated telecast among kids and tweens garnering more than 12 million viewers.

Naomi also has joined the popular Bravo series CARTER, about a TV-star detective named Harley, played by Jerry O’Connell (Stand By Me, Sliders), who returns to his hometown where he takes to sleuthing for real. Naomi plays Delilah Halsey, a new forensic coroner who likes her job and especially likes Harley. Quick-witted, fiercely intelligent and extremely flirtatious, Delilah makes every trip to the morgue an interesting one.

Meanwhile, Matt Baram who is Naomi’s partner in life and, now, in crime, have collaborated on Someone Stole Something, a six-part serialized mocu-mystery podcast that parodies the “True Crime” genre.  The story follows a fictional married couple, Ira and Julia Leiser. Residents of a sleepy cottage town, the Leisers embark on an investigative journalistic quest to uncover the fate of three patio chairs that went missing after a summer party. Someone Stole Something is produced by Baram & Snieckus with the generous support of Leo Hicks, Spencer Hall and Tom Hutch at Apollo Studios in Toronto.

Joanne Boland is Firecracker Department’s Creator|Editor of Redpoint
Currently Joanne can be seen on Netflix in American Hangman playing Detective Stokely, part of a police team trying to crack a kidnapping that is livestreaming to the world. Next you can find Joanne shifting gears as she plays Maggie, in the season finale of The Handmaid’s Tale, premiering on Bravo in Canada on August 18.

Laura Lee is Firecracker Department’s YouTube and Video Co-ordinator  
Laura will be performing her acclaimed stand-up at the Bed Post Sex Comedy Show, Toronto’s only sex and sexuality variety show, August 16, at The Social Capital, 154 Danforth Ave., right above the Black Swan. The Bed Post show is a little burlesque, a little sensual song, a little drag, a little erotica reading and sexy stories, a little LGBTQ+ comedy, and a whole lot more. More details and tickets here.

Sydney Neilson is Firecracker Department’s Social Media Manager and Podcast Producer
In her other life, Sydney works as a story producer on the muscle-motor-building reality TV series Texas Metal, now in its third season. Sydney is part of the Development team that created the series, which airs on MotorTrend, Discovery’s auto channel, and online at MotorTrend On Demand. The show stars Bill Carlton, owner of Ekstensive Metal Works and his creative crew who build outrageous, enviable cars and tricked-out trucks with wild hydraulics, or facelifts for classic muscle cars – full-service work for clients from around the country.
