FUNDING THE CHALLENGE:
pUNK Films is funding this challenge through the Box Office Receipts of i am a good person/i am a bad person, director Ingrid Veninger’s follow up film to ONLY and MODRA.
WHO CAN APPLY: Any Toronto-based Filmmaker(s).
THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
OUTLINE: 1-3 Pages (Treatment, or Script, if available).
* BUDGET: Max. $1000.
TEAM BIOS: Writer, Director, Producer, Cast, DOP, Sound, Editor.
COVER LETTER: Should indicate where the idea for the project originated, why you want to make this movie, and who is the key person responsible for delivering the project.
* Note: Total of any and all deferrals (if applicable) must be CAPPED at $2,000.
DEADLINE: Submission Window is: June 14-21. June 21st is the LATEST.

MASTER CLASS BONUS: Everyone who submits a Project is invited to Participate in a DIY Micro-Budget Master Class the Weekend of June 23/24 (time/location details TBC).
DECISIONS: Final Film Selections will be Announced on Monday June 25th.
Film Selections will be made by Ingrid Veninger & Stacey Donen (The Royal/Theatre D).
Film Teams will sign an Executive Producer Agreement with Ingrid Veninger, who will mentor each Project.
PRODUCTION: PROJECTS MUST SHOOT IN JULY – 4 weeks.
Open to Narrative, Docs, Alternative and all Hybrids. Minimum Running Time: 75 Min.
POST-PRODUCTION: PROJECTS MUST POST IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER – 6 weeks.
THEATRE D is offering all Selected Feature Films 1 day Mix (including Mixer).
DELIVERY: All Projects must Deliver by Sept. 14th. Format: ProRes, H.264, Blu-Ray.
FINAL SCREENING & DISTRIBUTION: Each Selected Film will have One Screening at THE ROYAL end of September (dates TBC). Stacey Donen of The Royal/Theatre D will have ‘First Right of Negotiation’ to distribute each Selected Film.
Filmmakers will have Final Cut and will Own the Rights to their Movies.
