PRESS RELEASE

Fathom Film Group is thrilled to announce that Cargo Film & Releasing has picked up U.S. distribution rights to It’s All Gonna Break, the feature documentary chronicling the rise of indie music collective Broken Social Scene, directed and shot by cinematographer Stephen Chung.

The film, which premiered to sold-out venues in Canada earlier this year, captures never-before-seen footage of the band’s journey from Toronto’s underground music scene to global stages.

Starting in May, It’s All Gonna Break will kick off a multi-city theatrical run with special event screenings across the U.S.

With deep archival footage and exclusive interviews featuring Kevin Drew, Feist, Emily Haines, Brendan Canning, and more, the film explores the band’s impact on indie rock and its lasting cultural influence.

Produced by Fathom Films, It’s All Gonna Break will debut on Crave in Canada following its U.S. theatrical run.
