Announcing the Start of Production in Vancouver for the short film Small Rain Down, directed by the talented Jessica Hinkson, from Original Fools Productions.
The film is an adaptation of a compelling short story penned by Canadian writer Robert Wiersma, with the screenplay crafted by Joshua Hinkson.
Filming is set to take place November 26 and 27 in Maple Ridge and in and around North Vancouver.
Small Rain Down follows the journey of Danny Rush, played by Joshua Hinkson (Van Helsing, Bates Motel, Doomsday Mom) who, after escaping his hometown years ago, finds himself compelled to confront the closure he never knew he needed. The cast also includes the talented Jenna Burgess from “YELLOWJACKETS” as Isabel Scarfe.
Behind the scenes, the film is in excellent hands with Naiyelli Romero Aguero (Sara) and Joshua Hinkson as producers, Nick Thomas as (Nancy Drew) director of photography and casting handled by Jesse Griffiths.
Small Rain Down unfolds its narrative against the backdrop of the picturesque Vancouver landscape bringing together a talented cast and crew to weave a story that promises to captivate audiences.
